Startup of the Day: Salesforge, Estonian all-in-one sales execution app

Launched in January 2023 by Daniel Grek Sanchez CastellanosDovydas Volodko, and Frank Sondors, Salesforge is an all-in-one sales execution app used as AI co-pilot for small and large sales teams. Now, Salesforge has two products — Salesforge, which crafts emails in any language with a focus on deliverability, and Mailforge, which provides the necessary infrastructure with domain and mailbox management. Recently, the startup secured $500,000 in a pre-seed funding.

Tell us about your startup. How does it work?

Salesforge is an AI copilot in sales execution with a vision to make sales organizations leaner & meaner.

How did you come up with the startup’s idea? What was the reason/motivation behind it?

I was a the SVP Sales for Whatagraph leading a sales team of 50 and I realized the only way to attain the sales target was by hiring more reps, which I thought was wrong. The software market was broken, which optimized for more bums on seats. This is exactly the reason why we’re building Salesforge.

How long did it take to reach the prototype or MVP? What did you encounter?

It took us 2 months to build the MVP and another 2 months to build a BETA product.

When exactly did you launch your product? Or when the launch is planned?

We launched the product in June 2023.

Tell us about the startup’s business model. How do you monetize your product?

We monetize Salesforge and Mailforge via consumption based pricing where you assemble your plan based on the planned consumption across multiple line items whether it’s capacity, AI credits, mailboxes etc.

What are your target markets and consumers?

US market targeting pre-seed, seed, series A stage companies and also lead generation agencies.

If the startup has already launched the product, what are the results: metrics, income, or any clear indicators that can be evaluated.

We received almost a $1 million ARR in 9 months with a team of four.

We’re expanding the team rapidly right now. In the last weeks we’ve hired amazing individuals and are a team of 10 people right now. Our hiring for A players is evergreen and are currently focused on Go Engineers, Product Designer and Account Executives

Recently, our team raised a $500K,000 in a pre-seed round together with Bad Ideas Fund of 50 angels, Fiedler Capital, Spring Capital and Super Angel Maciej Zawadzinski in order to release AI agents by Q4’24.
