Polish fund Scanderia Venture invests in Miodajnik, a portioning device for honey

Polish VC fund Scanderia Venture has invested in the Miodajnik project. It is a device for non-contact honey portioning “like espresso coffee”. The amount of the deal is unknown.

  • Jakub Dziewulski is the creator of the Miodajnik project. He came up with the idea to serve honey hygienically at any place: at work, in the office, or in a café. The device will keep the honey in conditions that guarantee its high quality, thanks to using IT systems as its core element.
  • Ensuring optimal conditions for honey storage in a liquid, creamy form is a still a subject of research. One that Jakub will take on thanks to Scanderia’s investment.
  • Scanderia Venture is a Bialystok-based firm that invests in pre-seed and seed projects in areas with very high growth potential. Earlier in March, the fund invested €25 million in the GraftFlow research. And in January 2023, the firm backed Navimed with €235,000, as well as provided €250,000 to NutriBox.
