Polish medtech eGabinet announces changes in the board and further plans

Polish medtech startup creating software for clinic management eGabinet has announced that Karol Sadaj, a well-known executive with experience in companies such as Uber, Revolut, and Aion Bank, will join the startup’s supervisory board. The company also shared its further plans with AIN.Capital.

  • Founded in 2020 by Piotr Strychalski, eGabinet offers solutions for managing medical facilities and patient documentation. Its software, which uses cloud technology, offers almost instant access to facility data as well as patient medical history from any device, while maintaining maximum levels of encryption and security.
  • In 2023, eGabinet has doubled the number of doctors using their solution, and increased appointments by over 40%. In addition, earlier, the startup raised nearly €550,000 (PLN 2.4 million) round backed entirely by business angels.
  • The new addition to the team, Karol Sadaj worked as the marketing head of Uber in Poland from 2016-2018. Later, as Country Manager, he introduced the brand Revolut to the Polish market. In recent years, he was also responsible for the development strategy of Aion Bank’s operations, where he served as Country Head Poland.

In the coming weeks, eGabinet plans to introduce several new features to its software such as a financial and accounting module. The startup claims that it will allow for easy budget management and financial liquidity control of medical facilities.
